Owatrol Oil is a high‑performance rust treatment and adhesion primer designed to stabilise corrosion, protect metal surfaces and improve the performance of oil‑based paints and coatings. Its deep‑penetrating formula drives out air and moisture, reaching healthy metal to create a flexible, insulating protective film that withstands temperatures up to +175°C. Ideal as an undercoat before finishing paint, it ensures long‑lasting protection against heat, humidity and external environmental damage.
As an additive, Owatrol Oil enhances the flow, penetration and coverage of oil‑based paints, varnishes, stains and alkyd coatings. It replaces traditional thinners without evaporating, improves adhesion and renders finishes rust‑resistant - making application easier and more efficient on both ferrous and non‑ferrous metals.
Owatrol Oil also serves as a universal adhesion primer, providing excellent grip on smooth surfaces such as glass, PVC, aluminium, galvanised steel, zinc and more. When used decoratively, it preserves the natural rusty appearance of metal while sealing and protecting the surface.
